Is a breakfast available?: A light help yourself breakfast is included or if you prefer there are cafe's or hot food outlets nearby from 6.00am
How do I pay? : The credit card that you enter on booking will be charged immediately for the first nights accomodation. The balance will be charged on your arrival, from the same card, unless you contact us to request differently.
When can I check in? : You can check in from 3.00pm onwards on arrival day. After booking you will receive an email from us with an access code which lets you check in at any time. You will find an envelope with your room keys waiting for you at reception (If you need the room before 3.00pm contact us and we will do our best to help)
What happens if I need to cancel? : If you cancel on the day prior to your arrival or before, you will be refunded your deposit in full, If you cancel on the day of arrival, you will only pay for the first nights stay.
What happens if I need to leave early? : If you have to cut your stay short tell us by 11.00am on the day you need to leave and you will be refunded for the nights you do not use
I am flying in to Prestwick Airport. How do I find you?: The airport has a covered walkway to the rail station, go to the far away rail platform (Trains for Glasgow. The trains are every half hour, last one at around 11.00pm see the 'links page' for full train times). Irvine is 3 sometimes 4 stops away (about 10 to 15 minutes in total). When you get off the train at Irvine it is a 5 minute walk to the guest house. To find us : Leave the station by the main exit and go under the rail bridge, towards the harbour area. We are a short walk past the Harbourside Hotel and situated on the left
What is there to do nearby? : Irvine has a lovely sandy beach with great views to arran and ailsa craig. There is plenty of shopping and a leisure centre with a swimming pool plus ice rink. The harbour area is pretty with pubs and restaurants and a maritime museum
We are handy to a choice of ferries and have a rail link direct to Glasgow central station
